One of the ways Gull seeks to make a positive difference is to fully integrate sustainability into our business thinking. We want to be the customer choice, for sustainable fuel products and services.
Climate change and global warming is a profound consequence of decades of global greenhouse gas emissions. The majority or our current business lies at the heart of this issue, our business largely revolves around petroleum (fossil) fuels. To us, this is unsustainable and we must start to fundamentally change the way we operate.
We therefore recognise that there is a duty on each of us and on Gull as a business to take a leadership role, to ensure a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future for you, for Gull and the generations to follow.
We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing journey for Gull, and we can, and should, be proud of our achievements to date. We know that there are many challenges ahead, however with focus and commitment we can create a truly sustainable business at Gull.
As a provider of fuel and convenience products, the foundation of our approach is our ability to provide quality, reasonably priced and increasingly sustainable fuels and consumer products that delight our existing customers and attracts new ones. We believe that this is the responsible and sustainable way to do business.
Gull Sustainability Framework
Our approach to sustainability, involves a framework with four broad sustainability elements: Our Products, Our People, Our Planet and Our Processes, as shown below. We have an objective related to each element and a number of initiatives which forms the specific work streams within our Sustainability Action Plan or (S.A.P). The S.A.P is an internal document which we use to measure and monitor our performance on a monthly basis.
